Torment
Throughout the course of my class, I kept developing my original idea of the word “torment.” In this piece, I covered what could be described as a healing process. I consider healing to be an endless cycle of the bad leading to the good but still needing to be strong enough to push through the bad. That is easier for some than others but everyone can heal, at least most parts, with time. So to combine my idea of torment with my idea of healing, I created a walkthrough of how I experience a form of torment and how I find my way out. Because I do not have any voices in my head constantly running, I have always imagined my thoughts as conscious or an ethereal being talking to me. This means whenever there is a spiral of negative thoughts, there is an outside voice helping stand up, recover, and overcome.
In this game, you will follow an ethereal being through the process of recovery and be able to choose the path you desire to follow. However, I must warn you that not all is as it seems, and you may be told more than you think about this world. The paths may be different in length but they are similar in destination. This stands for the different lengths each person may journey on the road to recovery and how even though the paths are different the general goals are the same: heal from whatever negative experience one has gone through.

The goal of this interactive is to follow a trail and choose the path you want to follow. As you move through the space, you will be told many things and it’s up to you to interpret how to feel. You will be using WASD to move the character, space to jump, hold shift to run, and the mouse to control the camera. At the signs and barriers, you can press "Q" to open the left path or "E" to open the right path. there are words that pop up on the screen to portray inner dialogue or dialogue from external entities, the words are color-coded: red for negative and blue for positive, and they change from red to blue as you walk the path.
